Before a pedicure at Nailed It Spa in Fresno, choose your service by the time you have, decide whether to add gel, and bring open shoes for the trip home.

How long does a pedicure take?

The five pedicures on the menu run from 45 to 90 minutes, so the time you have is a good place to start. Browse them all on the pedicures page, or see our pedicure options comparison.

PedicureTimeCash priceGood fit when
Classic Pedicure45 minutes$35You want the shortest visit
Super Sport60 minutes$43You have an hour and want a mint mask and hot towels
Super Silky70 minutes$53You want a sea salt soak and a mud mask
Deluxe Pedicure70 minutes$63You want a bubbling soak and hot stones
Mega Pedicure90 minutes$73You have the most time and want a volcano spa treatment and a 20-minute hot stone massage

Prices are cash prices, and card payments add 2.5%. Plan a little more time than the listed minutes for arriving, paying and putting your shoes back on.

Steps matter too. If you want a callus step, Super Silky includes a callus remover, and Deluxe and Mega include callus removal. If you want a soak, Super Silky has a sea salt soak and Deluxe has a bubbling soak. Classic and Super Sport are the shorter visits.

Should you add gel before you book?

Gel adds $15 to any of the five pedicures, so it helps to decide ahead of time. Classic is $35, so with gel it comes to $35 + $15. Many people add gel when they want their color to hold up longer.

If you are unsure, pick your pedicure first and decide on gel after. There is more on the option in our gel pedicure post.

Choosing a color ahead of time also saves minutes in the chair. Save a photo of a shade you like, or look through the gallery for ideas before your visit.

What should you wear before a pedicure?

Wear open shoes or sandals, and bring them even if you arrive in something else. Fresh nails usually need a little time to set, and pressing them into a closed shoe right away can smudge them.

Comfortable pants that roll up easily keep the fabric out of the way while you sit. Leave a few extra minutes at the end of your visit so you are not rushing to the door with wet nails.

Should you trim your toenails before a pedicure?

Classic Pedicure includes nail shaping and Super Sport includes nail trimming.

Should you shave or shower before a pedicure?

If you are unsure, ask the salon. If you have cuts or irritated skin, ask a doctor (or a podiatrist for feet) and tell the salon when you book.

What should you tell the salon when you book?

If you have a health condition, pain, a medication or an allergy, or anything else about your feet that worries you, ask a doctor or podiatrist first, and tell the salon when you book.

Know which pedicure you want, whether to add gel, and how many people are coming. If it is a group, the group nail appointments post helps you plan.
